I was learery due to the negitive reviews but this tool seems great for what it's used for ... I recommend practice on the pressure with water before actually using it to get the idea but I can see how jamming the button all the way down even in little quick bursts could cause some major paint problems on your wall ... but with a few minutes of practice you'll quickly see how it works and be able to quickly tackle your edging problems! Im not sure how dumb you gotta be to rate this below 5 stars but there are folks out there that need help. I finally had a chance to use this to paint my stair skirts before my new stair steps are installed. Not only did I NOT MAKE ANY MESS, I was able to put three coats on in 4 hours. Love this little gem!

One gallon usually covers about 400 square feet. For a room, calculate square feet by multiplying the length times the width. Do the same for the ceiling, if you're painting that, too. And don't forget the trim: multiply the length, in feet, by .5 for the width.
