I’m going to leave you with a few hints and tips that I’ve picked up in this project and will use on all the next paint projects I tackle: .
I use brushes when I paint. I find the sprayer is time consuming to clean and pushing the lever stressed my hand. I did paint the rooms in my house different colors and found it a lot easier to change rollers. Painting is the cheapest and quickest way to change the way a room looks. And if you end up hating the color, just buy another bucket of paint. It doesn’t take long to change the color. A Beautiful Mess February 26, 2015
Maybe the paint color didn’t turn out the way you hoped. Don’t stress it can be changed.
What about a paint sprayer? A spray-painted finish may not be quite as durable as hand-painted one, but using a power sprayer can be a real time saver, especially on hard-to-paint irregular surfaces such as shingle siding and latticework.

I genuinely think that this sprayer was one of my favorite purchases ever! The setup/clean up are definitely the most frustrating part about using it. But everything else was smooth sailing. We only had a small handful of clogs for the ENTIRE project. And clearing the clogs was SO simple (like you just turn the nozzle and spray it out).
