Apply the paint with your roller in the same two phases I described above. Instead of working in a 5' square area, try working in more narrow strips that extend from floor to ceiling.
A fresh exterior house painting job does more than making your property look great; it adds a layer of protection from different elements such as weather damages, dust, and insects.

I saw this and read reviews and thought it was worth a shot. This is so unbelievably worse than edging by hand. Some areas the paint just oozes from sides leaking onto next wall and some areas it has about 3 centimeters before the ceiling. It does not leave a nice crisp edge like advertised and like video shows. I was really hoping to get my sons room painted for him for his Christmas gift but now this is going to take me twice as long. 1.0 out of 5 stars NOT AS ADVERTISED!!!!! By Jenn on December 10, 2018
If you use a power washer on wood siding, be very careful not to erode the wood’s surface or to blast water into the separations between boards. For more, see How to Clean House Siding.
Another reason to request a delineated bid is simply to have in writing everything you discussed in the interview. With so many interviews, you may forget who said what. Ask him or her to include the following:

Did you know that the time of year you choose to paint the interior can have a drastic effect on the price of your job? If you want to save on paint costs, you may want to consider booking a time slot during the off-season.
Getting away with just 1 coat of navy blue or red paint? You could... but only if you are seriously myopic.

One of the most popular exterior colors for 2021 is Alabaster by Sherwin-Williams. Alabaster (SW 7008) is both timeless and on-trend this year as warmer, off-whites are in for exteriors. No question, this is a rare combination for any modern exterior or interior paint color.
If you do decide to make it a full-time business, the sky’s the limit. The house flipper/contractor that I worked for billed clients $35 per hour for painting, and paid his best painters perhaps half of that, so there is room for some profit there. Consider the case of Matt Shoup, who started with $100 and went door-to-door, asking neighbors if they needed some painting done, then built a painting business that earns $2.5 million per year!
For the finish, apply one or two coats of premium 100% acrylic latex paint made for metal siding. In most cases, satin or eggshell finishes look good on metal siding and offer longevity. Apply the paint with a paintbrush, as discussed above, under “Wood siding.”
Oil-based paints take longer to dry than latex, but they ultimately stand up to scratches and water damage better. For this reason, people often choose to use oil paint in high-moisture areas.
Various factors impact the cost to paint an entire house, including the quality of the paint, size of your home, potential obstacles in and around your home, and more. The average price to paint a house is $10,300 to $16,750, with most homeowners paying approximately $13,500 to prep and paint all of an average 2,500 sq. ft. home. However, some people pay as low as $4,500 to paint a smaller 1,000 sq. ft. home with low-quality paint or as high as $32,000 to prime and paint a 4,000 sq. ft. home with premium painting products. 5. Paint siding. Apply paint (preferably with an eggshell or satin finish) using a roller for large open spaces and a brush for more detailed work around the trim and other features. Work from top to bottom, and overlap each stroke to ensure you don’t miss any spots. After the first coat dries, you’ll likely have to add a second coat, maybe more depending on the siding material.
