We did a little updating by spray painting the shutters, replacing the landscaping, adding a window box, painting the garage door, and building a pergola over the garage. This made a big impact, but I still craved the white brick after! We decided to break this project up into phases. Our house is three stories tall in the back and on the sides (we have a walk out basement). And the sides of the house have a steep hill, which is pretty tricky to work with. Eventually, we will rent a lift and tackle the sides and back of the house, but for now we are just starting with the front!
If you have gables, multiply the width of the gable by its height, and divide by two. Do this for each gable and add the total to the body measurement. TIP: Don't forget, each gallon covers between 250-400 square feet. Don't forget to factor in the paint for a second coat if necessary.

The prices below are based on rooms with 8’ high walls with flat ceilings. Rooms with higher ceilings will be more. The price you pay may also be affected by factors such as the amount of drywall repair work that is needed, the amount of furniture that needs to be moved, and the number of windows and doors in a room.

Very professional, courteous and so easy to work with. They showed up on time every day and made sure everything was to our liking before they left. They even have a list of the houses they've done so you can see what a great job they do before you hire them.
Use a 2-inch angled trim brush and a 1 ½-inch sash brush to paint trim. Always brush in line with the wood’s grain.
Before painting, seal-up any gaps between siding and trim. Painters recommend using paintable100% acrylic caulk for multi-purpose caulking. For caulking seams where heavy water flow can occur, choose a paintable polyurethane (PL) caulking compound. Caulk all separations between varying materials. ©Greg McGill / Shutterstock.com
I got several quotes from painters in the area to paint my house. One guy was almost a no show to the estimate (only came hours late after I called him) and took weeks to provide me with a quote, another guy was just too new and had no reviews or portfolio. Although House Painting Inc was more expensive than the others, I went with them because of the extensive information I was given at the estimate that he showed up to on time. I was shown lots of hand written reviews, before and after photos, current license and insurance. He took the time to go over every little spot of my house and provided me with a quote within a day.
