Should you go with a pro or no? Before taking the painting plunge, consider the following:
I was learery due to the negitive reviews but this tool seems great for what it's used for ... I recommend practice on the pressure with water before actually using it to get the idea but I can see how jamming the button all the way down even in little quick bursts could cause some major paint problems on your wall ... but with a few minutes of practice you'll quickly see how it works and be able to quickly tackle your edging problems! Im not sure how dumb you gotta be to rate this below 5 stars but there are folks out there that need help. I finally had a chance to use this to paint my stair skirts before my new stair steps are installed. Not only did I NOT MAKE ANY MESS, I was able to put three coats on in 4 hours. It took me longer to wait for the paint to dry then to put it on (30 minutes maybe for both sides!). It looks professionally done and hardly used any paint! Only thing I had to clean was the tool. Love this little gem!

Flat paint, aka matte paint, falls on the other end of the spectrum. Matte paint has no shine at all, and it’s difficult to clean without rubbing off the paint because water removes it easily.
For example, if the rate is $30 per hour but there are two people working on your project, you would pay $60 per hour. The flip side is that the more painters there are, the faster they will get the job done. Your overall labor cost will usually be about the same no matter how many people the painting company puts on your job.
Our painters most commonly use Sherwin-Williams paint, but we are happy to discuss alternatives if you have another preferred brand. When possible, we recommend low- or zero-VOC paints for our projects which produce less odor and are less toxic.
If you’re going to vacate your place for the duration of the work, make sure to take the essentials with you. For a project that will take multiple days, make a packing list so you don’t forget your toothbrush, chargers, clothes, entertainment, etc.
Oil-based paint typically dries more slowly. This will increase the chances of it leveling and eliminating brush strokes. Oil-based paints are used for several applications. As it pertains to interior house painting, it’s typically applied on wood or interior trim. surfaces. But with everything, there is always a drawback. Oil-based paint is more likely to turn yellow, crack, or fade where there is little light. Especially on the backsides of a closet door.
We pride ourselves on the highest level of customer satisfaction for every job we complete.
When to use a flat paint finish: If your home has older wooden siding, or you need to conceal siding imperfections, flat paint can be a good choice.
Interior commercial painters charge $2 to $6 per square foot, while exterior jobs that require scaffolding cost $5 to $10+ per square foot. Commercial painting crews can work on five or more units at a time, are usually highly skilled, and they can complete large projects.
